Ramadan Nights in Morocco

C2

Samir decided to spend his summer break exploring Morocco, arriving just in time for Ramadan. Initially, he struggled with the daytime fasting, but as the sun set, he joined the locals for Iftar, the evening meal that broke the fast. Each night was a celebration, with tables overflowing with dates, harira soup, and sweet pastries like chebakia. Samir found himself drawn into the communal spirit of the month, sharing meals with strangers and engaging in deep conversations about life and faith. By the end of Ramadan, Samir had not only discovered a new culture but had also gained a greater appreciation for gratitude and mindfulness.
