The Mirror of Truth

B2

Sophia inherits a large, ornate mirror from her great-aunt, who was known for her eccentricities. When Sophia looks into the mirror, she sees a reflection of herself—but it’s not the version she knows. The mirror shows her an alternate version of her life, one where she made different choices. Curious, she begins to explore these alternate realities and see the consequences of the paths she didn’t take.

However, Sophia soon learns that the mirror has a dark side: it can alter reality. Each time she looks into it, she changes something in her own life. She must learn to control the mirror’s power before she loses herself entirely.

Oliver found an old journal in his grandmother's attic. The journal belonged to a time traveler who had visited different places in history, from the pyramids of Egypt to the streets of ancient Rome. But the journal had one page left blanka page that seemed to be waiting for Oliver. As he wrote in the journal, he found himself transported to the places he described! Oliver ’s adventures took him to ancient civilizations, future cities, and even to the first moments of the universe. Along the way, he learned that time is not as fixed as it seems, and the choices we make can change history.
