New Year’s Eve in Edinburgh

C2

Daniel had always celebrated New Year’s Eve quietly at home, but a trip to Scotland introduced him to Hogmanay, Edinburgh’s world-famous celebration. The festivities began with a torchlight procession through the city and culminated in a massive street party with live music and fireworks. The highlight, however, was the tradition of singing Auld Lang Syne with thousands of strangers, arms linked in unity. Daniel felt a profound connection to the people around him and a renewed hope for the coming year. He realized that the best way to welcome a new chapter was with community and optimism.
