Lily’s Magic Garden
Lily loved her garden. Every morning, she watered the flowers, pulled out weeds, and talked to her plants. “You’re growing so she said to her sunflowers. One day, while digging, Lily found a small bottle buried in the dirt. On the bottle, it said, “Magic Plant Food.” “What’s this?” Lily wondered. She decided to try it. She poured a little on her roses. Suddenly, the roses grew taller and taller until they were as high as the roof! Lily gasped. “This really is The next day, Lily tried the magic food on her apple tree. The apples grew bigger than basketballs! When she picked one, it was so heavy she needed both hands to carry it. Lily’s neighbor, Mr. Jones, saw the giant apple. “What are you feeding that he asked. “Just some magic plant Lily said. “Can I have some for my tomatoes?” Lily gave him a little. The next day, Mr. Jones’s tomatoes were so big they broke the fence! Soon, everyone in the village wanted Lily’s magic plant food. But Lily noticed something strange. Her flowers were growing so big they blocked the sunlight. The grass stopped growing, and the garden looked messy. “Oh Lily said. “Maybe too much magic isn’t Lily decided to stop using the magic food. She carefully trimmed her giant plants and gave the leftovers to the village. The people were happy, and Lily’s garden went back to normal. From then on, Lily only used water and love to care for her plants. She realized that the best gardens grow with patience and care.
