The Morning Run

A1

Elena wanted to get fit, so she decided to start running every morning.
On her first day, she woke up at 6 a.m., put on her sneakers, and went outside.
At first, she felt great.
The weather was cool, and the streets were quiet.
But after ten minutes, her legs hurt, and she was out of breath.
She stopped running and walked home.
The next day, she tried again.
She ran for fifteen minutes.
Each day, she ran a little longer.
After a month, Elena could run for 30 minutes without stopping.
She felt stronger and healthier, and running became her favorite part of the day.
