The Marathon Mishap
Emma had always wanted to run a marathon, but training was tough. On race day, nerves took over, and she forgot to tie her shoes properly. Two miles in, one shoe came flying off. As she hopped to retrieve it, she tripped and tumbled into a group of runners dressed as superheroes. The “superheroes” helped Emma up and decided to stick with her for the rest of the race. They joked, encouraged her, and made the 26.2 miles fly by. Emma finished last, but she received the loudest cheers. She learned that sometimes, the journey—and the people you meet are more important than the finish line.
